Hills, hobby farms, and Beaver Valley chalets: septic design here is shaped by slope and the escarpment.
Grey Highlands covers Markdale, Flesherton, Kimberley, and the Beaver Valley, with rolling terrain, hobby farms, and a lot of weekend and ski-season housing. Most properties outside the small village cores are on private septic.
Slope matters here. A hillside lot changes where a bed can go and how it drains, and the Niagara Escarpment adds approval steps for some properties. Weekend and rental use also swings loads up and down through the year, which affects how a system should be sized and how often it needs pumping.
We cover new and replacement systems, pumping, and inspections for buyers. Nearby: The Blue Mountains and West Grey. Call (548) 918-5572 for a free quote.
